When Sarah Carr was born in Loudoun County, Colony of Virginia about 1775, her father, Hugh Carr, was 30, and her mother, Ann Elizabeth (Finely) Carr, was 22. She married Robert Read II on 25 May 1801 in Logan County, Kentucky.[1] In 1810 Butler County was formed from Logan County (possibly indicating that the family did not move but was only captured by the newly formed county). The family resided in Butler County in the subsequent Census.[2][3] She passed away in 1853.
FamilySearch.com provides the best list of siblings; however, it includes both Carr and Carter as last name. Furthermore, some of the children appear to other "Hugh Carr" genealogies (of Massachusetts and of Rhode Island). Due to the uncertainty, none of the other siblings have been added here.
