Elizabeth was born in 1825. Her parents were probably Isaac Carr and Jane Laver of Silkstone.
Elizabeth died 1838 when she was 13 years old. She was a victim of the Huskar Moorend Pit Disaster. [1] She was buried on 7 July 1838 in Silkstone Church Yard with the other children who died the same day.[2]

Research Note
There does not appear to be a christening record around 1825 in the Silkstone area for an Elizabeth Carr.
Family trees on Ancestry.com all seem to list Isaac and Jane Carr as Elizabeth's parents. None provide a source. Whilst this is likely, as they lived in Silkstone at the time, I can find no evidence to prove this is the case.
Searching census records from Silkstone and the surrounding area the only family that Elizabeth seems to fit into is that of Issac Carr and Jane Laver. Issac and Jane married in 1825 and according to census records did not have their first child until 1827, which seems unlikely. I have, therefore concluded that Isaac Carr and Jane Laver are probably the parents of Elizabeth Carr. Williams-47589 16:55, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
