William Carr, son of Caleb Carr and Joanna (Slocum) Carr was born in Jamestown, Rhode Island, 26 Dec 1708.[1][2]
William and his siblings received bequests from their grandmother Mary (Thurston) Slocum in her will proved 22 November 1732. "Item I Give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Patience Carr Daughter of Caleb Carr a Silver Spoon also I give and bequeath to my Grand Children Caleb Carr Joseph Carr and William Carr the sons of the said Caleb Carr the sum of twenty shillings to each of them.[3]
William Carr, of Caleb, and Elizabeth Corey, of William, dec. were married by John Jenkins, Justice, 19 Apr 1733, in East Greenwich, Rhode Island[4]
