Biography

Sarah Carr was born about 1685 in Westmoreland County, VA. She was the daughter of William Carr and Sarah _ _ _ _? Both Sarah and her mother were named in her father, William Carr's Will dated 13th of January 1702-3. About 1706, Sarah married James Thomas and they had these 8 children:

  • 1. Katherine Thomas, (1707 - ?), m. Daniel Thomas; mentioned in Father's Will
  • 2. Sarah Thomas, (1710- ?), m. John Jenkins; mentioned in Father's Will.
  • 3. James Thomas, (1712 -?), mentioned in Father's Will
  • 4. George Thomas, (1714 - ?), mentioned in Father's Will
  • 5. John Thomas, (1716 - ?), mentioned in Father's Will
