Rosina was born to Vincenzo and Maria Giovanna Carrabis on March 29th, 1892 in the town of Gesualdo, Italy. Like her siblings, she too immigrated to the United States and settled in Everett, Mass.

She married Vincenzo d'Avino and had a long life in New England.
