If James Carraway (1778-1852) was his father, he would have been only age 16 at his birth. Ancestry trees have both James as the son of Jonathan. Both James are married to (Elizabeth) Ann Gerganus. Are they likely duplicate profiles?
According to an online tree with sources, James was the son of Jonathan Carraway.[3]
In his will, Jonathan Carraway named his son James Carraway. He also named his friend James Carraway.
