Margaret Dennis was born in 1858.^[1]

She married C. H. Caraway. In 1880, they are living in Abe Springs, Florida. ^[2]

She married William Jefferson Benton. ^[3]

She died in 1937.^[4] According to her obituary, she was a native of Calhoun County and had lived in Escambia County for 60 years. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. ^[5][6][7]
