David Carrier was born in Appalachia, in Virginia (now West Virginia). See Appalachia Project.

David was born about 1806. He was the son of Henry Carrier and Rutha Walters. He passed away in 1867.

He married Elizabeth Cowan on 10 Feb 1824 in Union, Kentucky. [1]
