No baptismal record has been identified as hers. She was a minor at her marriage 10 Jul 1798 and would therefore have been born after 10 Jul 1777. Her age at death of 77 on 11 Apr 1855 gives an estimated YOB of 1778.

On 10 Jul 1798, in St-Nicolas, Simon Gingras adult son of Pierre Gingras and Catherine Grenier married Marie Anne Carrier minor daughter of Louis Carrier and Françoise Douville. Witnesses included: Groom- his father, his aunt Charlotte Gingras, his brothers Magloire Gingras, Louis Bazile Demers and Aristobule Demers, also Jean Baptiste Demers and Simon Lamotte; Bride- her father, her brothers Louis, Joseph and François Carrier.
