Biography

Philo Hale Carrier was born about 1810^[1] in Madison County, New York.^[2] He was the son of David Carrier and Elizabeth Howe.^{[citation needed]}

Based on the age of his oldest known child, Duane, he married Mary Williams, who was born in Chenango County, New York, about 1835. Based on Us Census and other records, they had at least the following children:^[2]

2. Julia Mary Carrier, b. ca. 1842 Erie County, NY; d. 1925 (Julia Vining White nee Carrier)^[4]
