Jean was born about 1750. He passed away in 1813.
[1] He had a brother Jean Baptiste Amable who was born in 1754 and died in 1755.
Jean Jamme Carriere was born about 1750 to Thomas Jamme Carriere and Marie Angelique Faucher Foucher in New France (Quebec).
He marred Marie Francoise Labrosse Raymond on January 8, 1770 in Pointe-Claire. Together they had 14 children: Thomas Hyacinthe (m. Marie Charlotte Legault Deslauriers), Marie Louise (Francois Viau Janviau), Joachim (died at 5 months of age), Antoine (m. Eugenie Lefebvre Laciseray), Jean Baptiste (m. Marie Madeleine Legault Deslauriers), Marguerite, Eustache, Joachim (died at 9 months of age), Marie Francoise, Michel, Eugenie (died at 2 yrs of age), unknown (died at 1 yr of age), Angelique, and Francois.
It appears from the birth documents of the children, Jean and Marie Francoise lived in Pointe-Claire their entire lives. In all likelihood Jean was born here as well, although I have been unable to locate his baptism record.
Jean died on August 30, 1813 and was buried on September 1, 1813 in Pointe-Claire. Marie followed him on October 7, 1817. She was buried on October 10th in Pointe-Claire.
