Nellie was born in 1831 in North Carolina. Her parents were Henry Carriker and Elizabeth Blackwelder, according to family records. By 1850, she was living in the household of H M Niceler in Montgomery county, Montgomery, Illinois.[1]
Nellie married John Luther Spangler in Montgomery County, Illinois, on 01 May 1851.[2]
She passed away in 1857.
