Biography

Thomas Caryll of Ochecote, Notts. (d. 1540; bur. Ochecote),[1] had the wardship of his nephew John Caryll (b. c. 1505 - d. 1566), son of John Caryll (d. 17 Jun 1523; bur. St. Dunstan's, Fleet Street, London) & Margaret Elinbridge.[2]

There is a mistake in the Berry entry for Thomas Caryll, saying he lived and died in Ochecote, "Notts." Ochecote is in Northamptonshire, not Nottinghamshire. This mistake got propagated many places.
