18 mayo 1756: En la villa de Aguascalientes…asistí al matrimonio que en mi presencia y por palabras de presente celebraron Clemente de Chávez, español, originario y vecino de esta villa en la hacienda de la Cieneguilla, hijo legítimo de Marcos de Chávez y de Teresa de Silva; con María Felipa Carrillo, española, originaria y vecina de esta dicha villa en dicha hacienda, hija legítima de Pedro Carrillo y de Ignacia Javiera de Villalobos…fueron sus padrinos Felipe de Santiago y María Gertrudis Valderrama[1]
