Ellizabeth Carrington, a minor, daughter of Thomas Carrington, labourer, married Edwin Jephson, of full age, bachelor, miner of Brimington, son of Frederick Jephson, wheelwright, by banns at Brimington parish church on 10 July 1866. Witnesses were Joseph Watson and Mary Jephson.[5] They had a daughter:
Elizabeth died in the Chesterfield district of Derbyshire during 1868, aged 22 years.[7]
