1813 To NFLD as missionary with the Society for the Propogation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, he was Rector of St Paul, Harbour Grace, NFLD. Same year he founded a boy's school based on the Eton curriculum. Appointed Chief Magistrate.
1816 St Paul's was burned down and FHC offered £250 reward for name of arsonist.
1818 Rector (current term Dean) of Cathedral of St John the Baptist, St John's NFLD & also Chaplain to Garrison of St John's Newfoundland.
1823 Rev. FHC (on leave fron Newfoundland?) privately baptised Charles William Frederick Carrington son of Laura Carrington his sister (father William Boyce, surgeon R.N. ) Laura & William later got married and emigrated to AUS.
1839 FHC died at St Johnn's & was buried with full military honours in the graveyard & a plaque in his memory is on of the main pilars inside. 1
