Thomas was born May 30th, 1887 in Montréal, Canada to Michael Carroll & Ellen Akins.[1] He was baptized June 5th in Montréal.[2] Thomas worked as riveter in the Cleveland shipyards.[3] He married Ellen Garr January 15th, 1919 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.[4][5] In his later years, Thomas worked as a mail clerk for the New York Central Railroad in Cleveland.[6][7] He died August 21st, 1946 in Cleveland, at the age of 59.[8] Thomas was interred August 24th at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.[9]
