DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Tiffany or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Tiffany:

Welcome back to WikiTree T,

Thanks for upgrading to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. It will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the WikiTree site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link to find answers. Go to the Help drop down menu at the top right of your profile and go down to Forum ("G2G") for the link.

I do not know how to use this site. I downloaded my dna results but haven’t built a tree nor had any matches
Hi T! WikiTree doesn’t store your DNA, but allows you to record that you have taken a test. It then displays your test details on the profiles of your ancestors, so that other ancestors can contact you to compare results. If you haven’t added any profiles, or connected to any profiles, it won’t be able to do that.

For more advice on DNA, I suggest you post in our g2g forum, tagging your query DNA.

Wendy

Hi Tiffany,

I noticed that you were currently following the CEMETERIES tag, but were not yet a member of the Cemeteries Global Cemeteries Project. If you are interested in more details about the project, or are just ready to sign up, please head on over to our G2G Welcome Post for more information.

I look forward to seeing you around the tree!

Hi Tiffany,

A warm welcome to WikiTree, a genealogy site different than any other! You should have received an email from us with helpful links to get started.

Our goal is to have one single profile per person so that we have ONE big family tree and we collaborate together to make that happen.

Each volunteer at WikiTree adds to the collaborative tree at their own pace, there are no minimum requirements for time or entry.

When you volunteer, you indicate your interests by adding tags and comments and then one of our Greeters will confirm your membership.

Please check out our question of the week: How much time daily or weekly do you think you spend actively researching on your family history?

Welcome to the family!
