Margaret Anne Carroll[1][2][3][4] was born on 19 October 1864 in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.[5][6][7][8] Her common name was Annie.[9] She presumably lived with her parents in at Oxford Street in the Melbourne suburb of East Collingwood on 14 February 1865. Their house was a wooden house.[10] She presumably lived with her parents in at 115 Oxford Street in the Melbourne suburb of East Collingwood in February 1866.[11][12] She presumably lived with her parents in at 115 Oxford Street in the Melbourne suburb of East Collingwood on 13 February 1867. The house was a 2 room wooden house.[13][14] She presumably lived with her parents in at Perry Street in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood on 18 January 1871. Margaret Anne Carroll married Henry Hensell Thompson, son of Samuel Hensell and Anne Elizabeth Collett, in St. Patricks Cathedral on Monday 23 March 1885 in the Melbourne suburb of Melbourne. They were 20 and 25 respectively.[24][25][26] Margaret and Henry lived in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.[27]
Her husband Henry died 29 December 1898 at the age of 38, leaving her a widow aged 34. She was left with three children aged from 9 to 2. Margaret lived in October 1901 in at corner Reilly and Blanch streets in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood.[28]
Her father died 29 August 1902 at the age of 68. Margaret was aged 37 when this happened.
On 4 October 1902 Margaret placed a memorial in the paper for the death of her sister and her father (who had also died in the last two months).[29]
Margaret died on 7 November 1905 in Melbourne aged 41.[30]
