Birth
Sherman was born in 1866. He passed away in 1948.

Sherman was married 4, possibly 5 times.
His first wife Cordelia HEDRICK died 1899. So on the 1900 census with 5 children and no wife.
He married his second wife Georgia HUMPHRIES 1901. This marriage was over whether by death or divorce by the 1910 census. He is once again a single father, this time living in the household of a David TAYLOR.
The thing is, he is listed a son-in-law in the household of David TAYLOR. So, was there another wife with surname TAYLOR between numbers 2 and 3? Why was he a son-in-law in David TAYLOR's household? He has 2 children with him who as listed as grandsons of David TAYLOR
His third wife was Margaret WHITNER and he married her in 1901. This too was a short marriage because by 1920 he is living along and boarding with William R GRAVES
His 4th or perhaps 5th wife was Della SWIMS.[2]
