Biography

Felix Carroll was born in Tennessee in 1852, the son of John Carroll and Martha L. Gresham.

Obituary

F.W. Carroll 83, died August 13 1935 at the home of his son Clarence Carroll, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, August 14 By Bro. Haley. The services were held at Chickasha Funeral Home, with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.

The deceased is survived by four children. These are: Mrs. J. D. Attkissonof Grand Saline, Comer Carroll, Sweetwater; Clarence Carroll, Chickasha, and Mrs.J.T. Rittenberry of Rockdale,Tenn. There are nineteen surviving grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Mr. Carroll was born in Lawrenceburg Tenn, Coming to Texas in 1905. He lived I or near this place until the past few months, when he went to Oklahoma to make his home with his son.

Mr. Carroll has been a member of the Baptist church since early childhood and a consecrated Christian. He was loved by all who knew him.^[1]
