Biography
"Kerens, Tex., June 6. Sunday, Lloyd Carroll, a 16 year-old son of Mr. J W Carroll, was out horseback riding, and was loping his horse, when he ran into a gulley and fell on his rider, killing him instantly. He was buried yesterday evening and a large crowd of relatives and sympathizing friends attended his funeral. His family is one of the most respectable and prominent of the community."
