Biography

Jasper was born in 1854. In the 1860 census Newton Carol (age 6) was with his parents and siblings in District 5, Bradley County, Tennessee.[1]

In the 1900 census Jasper (age 47), Miner, was the married head of household in Kensington, Walker, Georgia.[2] In the 1910 census Newton J Carrel (age 56), Laborer, was the married head of household in Cleveland Ward 2, Bradley, Tennessee, United States.[3]

Newt Carroll died (age 70) on 18 January 1922 in Cleveland, Bradley County, Tennessee. He was in an obituary on 21 January 1922 in McKinney, Texas.[4]
