Biography

Olive Wilkinson Dixon was born on 23 Mar 1896 in Wold Newton, Lincolnshire, England to Lizzie Dixon. Her birth was registered in Caistor, Lincolnshire in the second quarter of the year, with no mother's maiden name listed (indicating an unmarried mother).^[1]

Olive's father was Henry Wilkinson, who her mother married in 1898. Olive used the surname Wilkinson on the 1901 and 1911 censuses.

In 1901 Olive Wilkinson (age 5) lived at High Street Cuxwold in North Thoresby, Lincolnshire with her father Henry (22, Builders Labourer), mother Lizzie (24), and brother Frank (2).^[2]
