Biography
Samuel was born about 1830. His parents are unknown. His estimated birth year is based on the estimated age of his wife.
He married in 1848 to Catherine Martha Jordan, daughter of Alexander Jordan Jr and Nancy E Rogers. He may have been about 18 years old. There are no records to indicate that they had children together.
He may have passed away before 1853 in Texas. The only records found have been marriage records from Cherokee County, Texas.
