Biography

She died in 1889 in Tievenagh, and the informant was her niece Mary Ann Carson. She was related to William Greer, possibly his aunt and mentions him in her will leaving him the portion of land known as the Barley Garden that had belonged to his father John Greer, and left the other portion (4 fields) which had belonged to James Greer to her devoted niece Mary Ann Carson.

Nancy Carson was a half sister of David Greer (1811-1884), presumably her mother remarried as David is younger. [1]
