Biography

On April 10, 1837, William CARSON, son of James CARSON and Margaret xxxx was born in Ireland.[1][2][3][4][5]

In 1842, William immigrated from Ireland to Canada.[5]

On January 13, 1861, William, his parents, James and Margaret and his siblings, Hugh, Jane, Margaret, James and Robert were residing on the family farm at Amaranth Township, Wellington County, Canada West. They lived in a 1 1/2 storey log house. William was a labourer.[1]

William was a member of the Church of Scotland.[1][2][3]

On April 2 1871, William, his parents, James Sr. and Margaret, his siblings, Jane, Margaret, James, Jr., Robert and Hugh, his sister-in-law, Elizabeth, his nephew, William Joseph CARSON, and nieces, Margaret Ann CARSON and Mary Jane CARSON were residing on the family farm at Caledon Township, Cardwell County, Ontario. William was a farmer.[2]
