Biography
Jane was born about 1803 in Monimail, Fife to a mother named Balatie/Baldy/or Baldie. [1][2]
She married Walter Syme 21 May 1826 in Kemback, Fife [3] and on 10 Jun 1826 in Largo, Fife. [4]
In 1851 Scotland Census Jane was 48 years old and born in Monimail. She is living in Easter Kennoway with her husband Walter 50, an ag lab and spirit dealer. The following children are living with them - Jane 20, John 15, Eliza 15, Margaret 11 and Mary S.W,.6. [1]
Jane passed away 08 Nov 1877 in Kennoway, Fife at 72, [2]and is buried in Scoonie Cemetery. [5]
