Biography
Charles was born in 1853. He was a son of Peter Carter and Sarah A. Snyder. He was raised in Spring Arbor, Jackson, Michigan. [1] He married Ella C Rice in 1875. [2]Their children were:
- Nellie Carter 1878 - 1882
- Katie Carter 1883 - 1889
In 1880, the family lived in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. [3] They moved to Spring Arbor, Jackson, Michigan before 1900. [4] Charles died in 1927[5] and is buried in Spring Arbor Cemetery, Spring Arbor, Jackson County, Michigan. [6]
