Biography
Emma was born in 1854. She is the daughter of Captain Isaac Carter and Mary Atkinson. The Morning Freeman (Saint John, February 8 1879) carried the following notice:
- d. Hopewell (Albert Co.) 21st ult., Emma Lockhart, age 24, w/o Oscar Lockhart and d/o Isaac Carter, Amherst Hill, N.S.
