Jim was born in 1892. Jimmy T.Carter AT HAZEN, AR. ... He passed away in 1980. EXCEPT FOR TIME IN THE ARMY DURING W.W.1 HE FARMED COTTON ALL HIS LIFE UNTIL RETIREMENT. THEN WITH MY MOM MOVED TO CARLISLE, AR. HE DID SHOE AND BOOT REPAIR AS HIS FATHER JOHN P. CARTER. ( I UNDERSTAND IT WAS PASSED DOWN IN THE FAMILY)

HE IS ONE OF THREE THAT LIVED. A BROTHER GEORGE SILAS CARTER BORN IN COLLIERVILLE, TN. A BROTHER ELGIN PINKNEY CARTER BORN AT HAZEN, AR. THERE WAS A SISTER NELLIE MARIE , AND BROTHERS JOHN MILLIARD, AND WILLIAM ARUTHER ALSO BORN IN COLLIERVILLE, BUT PASSED A WAY BEFORE HAVING THEIR OWN CHILDREN.[1]
