Samson Carter was christened on 23 March 1820 in Hazelbury Bryan, Dorset, England. He was the son of John and Sarah Carter. [1]
Research Notes
The Dorset OPC pages for Hazelbury Bryan [2] show that John and Sarah's children were: Michael (baptised 25 February 1815), John (22 September 1816), Mark (04 July 1818), Samson (28 March 1820), Sarah (13 January 1822), illegible name (02 April 1826), Mary (08 February 1829), Hezekial (03 May 1831, but died next day), Elizabeth (08 July 1832).
