Some difficulties with the Family Search identification of Mary Sawyer are that while it indicates that her husband died in 1849, it shows her living with her husband in 1850, in Illinois.
Also, she is attached to John Sawyer, Jr. who was born and died in Georgia. His mother, Mary Sawyer is living with him on the 1850 Census in Newton County, Georgia and she was born in 1796 in Georgia: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MZYY-2H1
