Birth location was "Devonshire, Suffolk, England". Amended to England because two counties prevent indexing.

No newspaper death record in "Century of Immigration, Marriage and Death Records from Prince Edward Island Newspapers" by Leland Currie, Ballantyne Trail Press under the name Carter.

She fits with: Elizabeth Carter, widow, married Robert Clements, widower in Charlottetown in 1840. The Islander – Dec 9, 1859 Died. At Charlottetown, on the 5th inst., Elizabeth, the beloved wife of Mr. Robert Clements, in the 58th year of her age, much and deservedly regretted. Her end was peace.

This would explain her husband's absence from the 1841 Census.

OR is she the Mrs Carter in Charlottetown, the head of a household of 5, all Church of England, one born in England. The oldest person in this household was a woman 21-45, perhaps not a good fit for a woman born in 1801.
