Rebecca was born in 1759 in Chester Co., Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Carter and Ann Whipple. She married Thomas Kersey Sr. She passed away in 1850 and is buried with her husband at Lytle Creek Cemetery, Clarksville, Clinton County, Ohio.
