ISAAC CARTER (2) John (1) b. Mar. 21, 1769[1] (S. Blue Hill, Cem.), d. July 28, 1854 (Bhtr), age 85 yrs. (Cem.) s/o John Carter (1) and Joanna (Allen). Phippsburg V.R. shows bapt. in infancy July 2, 1766[2]. Prob. this one d. young and Isaac b. 1769 is a second one of the name. He purchased land from his father in 1794, also purchased part of brother Allen's lot in 1797 from Bartholomew Flowers and David Harden. On Dec. 7, 1805 he sold all his Sedgwick land to Christopher Merrill of Sedgwick. They moved to Blue Hill Mar. 10, 1806.
