Felicity Carter married John Coulson in London on the 21st of January 1939,^[2] where their son Nicholas was born in 1947.

Felicity Coulson was also known as "Emery Bonett", the pseudonyn she used to write her novels in collaboration with her husband, John Coulson, who used the pseudonm, "John Bonett". Felicity settled in Spain, with her husband, during the later part of her life, where she passed away on the 7th of November 1997.
