Biography

His first wife, married about 1738 or 1739, was Beulah Wilder Carter. [1] His second wife, married Aug 27,1777, was the widow Hannah Flagg. Children(by first marriage): Oliver Carter, Oliver Carter Jr(Here?), Beulah Carter Fairbanks, Ephraim Carter, Abigail Carter Pierce, Elizabeth Carter Whitcomb, Esther Carter, and Asaph Carter. Oliver's gravestone says that he died in Sept 1790, but the death data field shows Nov 1790. Could you check your source and correct the death date, if appropriate. Thanks, Vic
