DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Thomas:

Dale Carter was a son of Charles and Lucy Morgan Carter and a direct descendant of Captain Thomas Carter (1672-1733) perhaps the first of the line in Virginia.

There was a Thomas Carter 'Isle of Wright Va.' who a lot of people think was the brother of John Carter the 1st. His son Thomas 2nd kept the accounts of Robert'King' Carter and was the administer of his will. I believe this is your Thomas Carter.

Thomas is 15 degrees from Kevin Bacon, 15 degrees from Cindy Lesure, 15 degrees from Bonnie Thornton and 15 degrees from Queen Elizabeth II Windsor on our single family tree. Login to find your connection.
