Biography
Grace (Carter) Lacey is an Indigenous Australian.
Grace was a Gunditjmara woman, born about 1886 in the Hopkins River area of Victoria. She was the daughter of Christopher Carter and Margery Etchison. Her birth was not registered.
On 18th October 1911 Grace married John Lacey in St Andrew's Manse, Mount Gambier, South Australia.[1]
Grace died on 6th September 1981,[2] and was interred in the Dartmoor Cemetery.[3]
