Lucy Carter was born February 3, 1798, in Virginia, a daughter of Joseph Carter and Martha "Patsey" Harris. On August 11, 1821, in "Big Moccasin," Scott county, Virginia, Lucy married William Lawson, born May 26, 1799, in Charlotte county, Virginia [1] Children of Lucy and William are:

- Jane Gincey Lawson b: 1824
- Joseph Lawson b: 20 NOV 1825
- William H. Lawson b: 20 NOV 1825 in Scott Co, VA
- Rebecca Lawson, born circa 1836, in Scott county, VA, married Alison O Pendleton, son of John and Jemima Pendleton, on January 15, 1856, in Scott county, Virginia [2]
- Ellen E. Lawson, born circa 1836, married John L. Holt, son of James F. and Sarah Holt, on January 19, 1859, in Campbell county, Virginia [3]

Carter-5186 and Morgan-5094 are not ready to be merged because: These profiles are definitely not the same person. They have different names Morgan vs Morris. Their birth dates are 1798 vs 1714. Death dates are 1826 vs 1766, and their death places don't match. In fact, the only thing alike is the name of one child. Some information 5094 would help. There is really nothing on that profile. I don't know who she is supposed to be. If you look at the profile of Dale Carter, he was born and died before his mother was even born! I am not sure she is not supposed to be attached as his mother. He was brought in later. Her children were all born in the 1820's. Look at the change history under 5094. These are definitely NOT the same. Please put them as rejected matches.
