Mary was born in 1904. She was the daughter of Hiram Carter and Zettie Breeland. She lived with her parents and siblings in Tangipahoa, Louisiana in 1910.[1]
Mary married George Everett Spears on 23 Aug 1919 in Pike, Mississippi.[2] They had three children. They lived in Pearl River, Mississippi in 1930.[3] The marriage did not last.
Mary married Marley Otto Barber about 1936 in Louisiana.[citation needed] They had two children.
