Biography
Rebecca was baptised July 31, 1803 in Stratton, Cornwall. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Carthew.[1]
She married Digory Baker on December 28, 1826 in Week St Mary, Cornwall.[2]
In 1860, Digory was 67 years old, Rebecca 56 and they were living in Downers Grove, DuPage, Illinois, USA. With them were sons Digory Wm. age 24 and Henry age 17.[3]
Rebecca died April 15, 1866 in Illinois and was buried in Lyonsville Cemetery in Indian Head Park, Cook county, Illinois.[4]
