Catherine Cartier, daughter of Louis Cartier and Genovieve Baton, was baptized on 31 July 1789, her baptism was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

She married Pierre Joubert, son of Pierre Joubert and Catherine Pitre, on 18 June 1805, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]
