Jamey Ray Cartrette, 32, of Tylertown, died April 7, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m Saturday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. in Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruth, with the Rev. David Moree officiating.

Mr. Cartrette was born Jan. 1, 1976, in Biloxi. He was the son of John Hokamp and Donnie Cartrette Lambert.

He worked for R.K. Wallace Metal Buildings. He attended Topisaw Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marguerite Marie Callender.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hodges Cartrette of Wesson; his father, John Hokamp; his mother and stepfather, Donnie and Gordon Lambert of Tylertown; two children, Blake Georgel and his mother, Candy Georgel of Reserve, La., and Stephanie Cartrette and her mother, Christina Brown of Mendenhall; two stepchildren, Christina and Troy Thames of Wesson; his grandfather, George Callender Sr. of Ruth; one brother, Samuel Glen Owens and his wife Danyelle of Brookhaven; one sister, Shameka Marguerite Keene and her husband Jason of Tylertown; two aunts and their spouses, Connie and John Coffman of Bogue Chitto and Sheri and Danny Hokamp of Saucier; two uncles, George Callender Jr. of Ruth and Russell Lynn Callender and his wife Ondria of Monticello; and numerous nieces and nephews. ^[3]
