Biography

Betsy was born in 1838 in Louth Lincolnshire England. She was the daughter of Edward Cartwright and Betsy Lill.[1]

In 1841 Betsy (age about 3) was living in Louth, Lincolnshire, England.[2]

In 1851 Betsy (age about 13) was living in Louth, Lincolnshire, England.[3]

In 1861 Betsy (age about 23) was living in Louth, Lincolnshire, England.[4]

In 1861 Betsy (age about 23) was living in Louth, Lincolnshire, England.[2]

When Betsy was about 24 she married Charles W Goodson on 11 December 1862 in Louth, Lincolnshire, England.[5] The couple had 4 children: Edith M Goodson, Charles Goodson, Nellie B Goodson and Bessie Maud Goodson.[4][2]

In the 1871 census Betsy (age about 33) was living in Brandon, Suffolk, England.[1]

Emigration: 1879 in From England to New Zealand. Aboard the "STRACATHRO"[4][2]

Betsy died at the age of about 43 in 1881 in Auckland New Zealand.[4][2]
