Information
She was known as Babe by all in her family. At least those that were part of her immediate family, prior to marriage.
Between 1917 and 1919 the family packed up and left Texas, on to California. They ended up first in Imperial Valley. I believe they bought a ranch or a farm there, but there just wasn't enough water to make it work. So they packed up one more time and moved to what would become Selma, Fresno California. They made this move probably about 1919 or early 1920.
Babe was about 4 or 5 years old when her family settled in Precinct 16, Fresno County, California, United States. Which would become Selma, Fresno, California, United States.
1930 United States Census, the town had officially become Selma, Fresno, California, United States. Beatrice lived in the family home with her parents, and 3 of her brothers, Walter, age 24, Curtis, 21, and Millard 19, Beatrice was 15 years old.
Death
Would have taken place sometime after 1985 and prior to 2014, probably in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, United States

As told to me by my grandmother Lola Effie Cartwright White. First Hand Knowledge. Bea was the youngest of the bunch, so it seemed natural for them all to call her Babe.
