Thanks for your note, David.

As far as I know, all of my McGee family was from North and South Carolina. Ending up in Florida was a fairly new development (post 1920) because my grandfather worked for the railroad.

I usually try to make the cemetery cleanup & dinner on the grounds at Oak Grove, which is held the last Saturday of the month March through October. I'm probably going to miss the July event but, if you know what headstone pictures you need, I can get them at the end of August.

See you in the branches,

Debi

Hi there! My name is Vicky (Freeth) Majewski and I am a WikiTree Mentor.

This is just a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far? Any questions? Any issues?

Feel free to contact me via my profile page. I am happy to help!

PS Does your Caruthers from Sumter County use the Oak Grove Cemetery in Wildwood? If so, let me know if you need gravestone pictures. I'm local and have family buried there.

Hi David,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I am checking in to see how it is going.

Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful? Most of us still have some questions after reviewing them.

I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Click my name to send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.

Hi David,

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!

Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
