NOTES They were farmers, and lived in Columbia County, about one mile inside its western boundary. Traveling from the county line of Suwannee and Columbia County's on hwy 252 east, and one mile to Murray road (a graded road) turning north. His farm connected with brother William M. Carver and other family members.

These family would travel by the river and by wagon to the coast for trading and to bring back fish which was salted down for later use.
