Biography

Frances was born in 1842. She is the daughter of Richard Carwardine and Sarah Unknown.^[1]

She was christened 14th August 1842 at Marden, Hrerfordshire. She was living with her parents and siblings at Withington, Herefordshire in 1851. She was a servant living at Bristol, Clifton, Gloucestershire and working as a domestic cook in 1871. She was living with her brother and his wife and children in Barton Regis, Gloucestershire and living on her own means in 1891.
